Solar Development Training: Learn how to develop your own solar project
New Solar Development Training by PV Intel teaches users how to develop community scale solar projects.
The United States is projected to double the total amount of installed solar PV by the end of 2025. Annual deployments are growing by over 500% and will reach 100 gigawatts of capacity per year by the end of the decade. To keep up with this major increase in solar installations and capitalize on this growing market, new populations of entrepreneurs, investors, and developers are entering the solar development industry.
“This is the largest wealth creation opportunity of our lifetimes,” says Jigar Shah, a solar entrepreneur and Department of Energy professional. “There will be nothing else that will produce more wealth, more jobs, more work.”
PV Intel’s new Solar Development Training course provides prospective solar developers with the knowledge, tools, and skills to develop their own solar projects. Through a series of live, one-on-one sessions led by solar experts and experienced developers, the course prepares users with everything they need to become a solar developer. Skilled industry professionals such as licensed electrical and civil engineers provide the training and documents needed to develop solar projects.
Unlike other training courses with generic classes, PV Intel’s is customized to a user’s preferences, risk profile, and capital budget. Users learn from real world source materials and tools, and find a suitable parcel of land to develop their own solar project from the very start.
The course focuses on developing community scale solar projects between 250kW and 7MW in range. These projects usually require as little as a few acres of land and involve an investment of between $500,000 and $10 million. The US will deploy an estimated 950 million solar panels by 2030 as part of the $370 billion allocated for renewables and climate resilience in the recent Inflation Reduction Act.PV Intel’s team has more than 40 years of professional experience in the solar industry. Entrepreneurs, financiers, investors, real estate developers, and property owners interested in learning how to develop their own solar projects can connect with PV Intel’s team of experts today at pv-intel.com.
